Editing an article

Once you have created an article, you will be returned to the article admin section. The new page will now be inactive until it is published.

In order to start adding or editing content on a page, you must first open the page you wish to work on. To do so:

  1. Go to Articles section or the sub-site.
  2. Identify the page.
  3. Click on the pencil icon () to edit the page
  4. Once you are in the main edit mode, you will need to work on the following edit modes: Text, Assets, Advanced, Summary, Categories and Filter Options.

Text

1
Consolidate your content
Main content space you will work in, this may be a blank webpage or one with preexisting content. This includes text, standalone images, quotes, captions for photos including ©.
2
What You See Is What You Get
The CMS is considered a "what you see is what you get" editor (WYSIWYG) so as you build your page you will have a preview of what it will look like for site visitors.
3
Editable Areas
Take note of the yellow editable area boxes, these are where you can drag content (like images or insert videos from youtube or other sources) or directly type in.
4
Top Ribbon
Take note of the blue ribbon in the top of the page where you will find basic options to edit your content (bold, styles, font-size, etc.).
